Wafa Khalfan is an Assistant Professor of Mass Communication at the University of Sharjah (UAE). She holds a PhD in Media and Cultural Policy from the University of Glasgow (2021) and currently serves as the co-chair of the Emerging Scholars Network (ESN) at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR).
