Dr. Zohar Efroni, LL.M. (Cardozo) completed his legal studies in Israel (LL.B., 1999), USA (LL.M. IP, 2002), and Germany (Dr. iur., 2009). During his doctorate, he was a scholarship holder at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. His book on the challenges of digitalisation for the copyright system was published in 2011 by Oxford University Press. In 2012, he co-founded the Humboldt Law Clinic – Internet Law (HLCI) and was a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Internet and Society, Stanford Law School (USA). He has published several papers on the interaction of technology and the law. He conducts research in the areas of data markets, information technology law, and intellectual property.
