Winston Maxwell holds a law degree from Cornell and a PhD in economics (Télécom Paris). A former partner at Hogan Lovells and attorney at the New York and Paris Bars, Winston Maxwell is currently Professor of Law and Technology at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris. His teaching and research activities focus on data regulation and artificial intelligence. In 2019 Winston Maxwell was designated « Lawyer of the Year » in data protection law and in telecommunications regulation by Les Echos/Best Lawyer.
