Volker Tripp is a lawyer and works as Chief Policy Officer for the non-profit NGO Digitale Gesellschaft. Prior to his current position he ran his own company for legal revision courses in Berlin and worked as a freelancer for Deutschlandradio Kultur. He was also one of the heads behind the netlabel iD.EOLOGY and advocated a modernisation and liberalisation of copyright law as an activist on the free music-scene.
