Sebastian Haunss is a senior researcher in political science at the Collaborative Research Centre "Transformations of the State" at the University of Bremen. His research interests are social conflicts and political mobilisations in the knowledge society, changes in political and economic legitimacy, social networks and social movements. Recent publications in the field of knowledge and information are: Conflicts in the Knowledge Society: The Contentious Politics of Intellectual Property, Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2013) & The Politicisation of Intellectual Property: IP Conflicts and Social Change, WIPO Journal 3(1): 129–138 (2011). Sebastian recently published a series of papers on online copyright with the Internet Policy Review.
