Dr Scott Hollier is Media Access Australia’s Director of Digital Accessibility, is a leading authority in the area of access to computers and the internet for people with disability. Dr Hollier authored a doctoral thesis titled The Disability Divide: a study into the impact of computing and Internet-related technologies on people who are blind or vision impaired and holds and Adjunct Senior Lecturer position with Edith Cowan University. He can also provide a personal perspective as he is legally blind and relies on assistive technology to use computers. Dr Hollier also represents Media Access Australia on the advisory committee of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
