Sangeet Kumar’s research interests are focused on interrogating the global dimensions of digital platforms to understand how their affordances shape and constrain the evolution of culture and enable new modalities of global cultural power. His recent research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Communication, Information, Communication and Society, International Journal of Communication and Popular Communication among others. His book tentatively titled The Digital Frontier is forthcoming in 2020).
