Dr. Sallam Abualhaija is a research scientist at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. She received her PhD in Computer Science (2016) at Hamburg University of Technology (Germany). Her research primarily focuses on applying artificial intelligence technologies, including the recent generative large language models and other natural language processing techniques, to software engineering challenges, with a particular emphasis on requirements engineering and regulatory compliance. She believes in bridging the gap between academia and industry. Over the past seven years, she has collaborated with industry partners, integrating practical insights into her research to foster innovation and real-world applications. She frequently serves on the organizing and program committees of numerous international conferences. In the software engineering field, these include RE, REFSQ, ICSE, and ASE. In the natural language processing field, she contributes to conferences such as EMNLP, NAACL, COLING, and ACL
