Renan Gadoni Canaan holds a M.Sc. in Science and Technology Policy from the University of Sussex, UK and he is currently a PhD candidate in Law at the University of Ottawa. He is affiliated with the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, Canada and his research focuses on the intersection between information policies and innovation. He was awarded an Emerging Leader in the Americas by Canada’s government and he is a recipient of the International Chancellor’s scholarship (University of Sussex) and Mitacs Globalink Graduate fellowship.
