Nuria Vega-Rodríguez

Information

Nuria Vega holds degrees in journalism and sociology and worked in an innovation & communication consultancy until 2017. Her professional experience encompasses participation in agroecological and social economy projects in Barcelona, collaborating with organisations such as Opcions, FoodCoop Barcelona, and Goteo Foundation. She co-founded Desvestint Aliments*, an artistic and pedagogical project focused on rethinking food relationships. From 2021 to 2024, she mentored and supported research on the MatchImpulsa project, contributing to a partnership with Barcelona City Council for the Barcelona Open Chair in Digital Economy, which serves as the foundation for her doctoral research. She is currently in the final stages of her PhD, affiliated with the TURBA research group (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Spain).
