Nikolas Becker studied politics and public administration, public law and sociology at the University of Potsdam and the University of Copenhagen. He is complementing his studies with an MA in political science. His research focusses on political and social changes in the wake of new information and communications technologies. He is on the Board of Wikimedia Deutschland. Since August 2012, he is a research assistant supporting the research area Internet Policy & Governance at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.
