Monroe E. Price (1938-2026) was a professor and pioneering law school dean (Cardozo University) and institution-builder at UPenn's Annenberg School for Communication and at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford. He is remembered as a generous mentor for a sprawling network of artists, academics and dissidents, who has contributed with his ecumenical, unassuming and brilliant, insightful work that spanned Native Australian law to global media policy.
