Information

Koray Caliskan is a tenured professor at Parsons School of Design, the New School. His research on cryptocurrencies was selected to be a winner of the Scientific Breakthrough of the Year Award of 2021 by the Falling Walls Foundation. His latest book Economization: Markets, Platforms, and Ecologies (co-authored with Michel Callon and Donald MacKenzie), is forthcoming in 2026 from Columbia University Press. He is carrying out research on online advertising and AI.
