Zygmuntowski is a Lecturer and PhD candidate in Management in Networked and Digital Societies (MINDS) Department at Kozminski University, where he researches political economy of new technologies, data governance and digital sovereignty. Co-president of the Polish Network of Economics and President of Instrat Foundation, a progressive policy think-tank.
