Hiu-Fung Chung is a PhD student at the Faculty of Information, University of Toronto. Drawing from sociology, media studies, and Science and Technology Studies (STS), his research explores the intersection of technology, inequality, and social suffering in the domains of work, mental health, and digital capitalism in Asia. His work has been published in Information, Communication & Society, Chinese Journal of Communication, and Convergence.
