Information
Hadi Asghari is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. His current research focuses on the Governance and Economics of Privacy, where he uses empirical methods to answer policy questions.
He is part of the interdisciplinary Economics of Cybersecurity research group led by Prof. Michel van Eeten. He has co-authored papers and reports for the OECD, the Dutch Government, the European Commission, and presented at various academic and industry forums.
In 2015 and 2016, he was a visiting research scholar at the Center for Information Technology Policy (CITP) at Princeton University, and in 2014, at SEAS at George Washington University.
