Prof. Dr. Gloria González Fuster is a Research Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB)’s Faculty of Law and Criminology, and Co-Director of VUB’s Law, Science, Technology and Society (LSTS) Research Group.
She holds a research position on the theme ‘Digitalisation & a Europe of rights and freedoms’, and teaches privacy and data protection law. She contributes to multiple international research projects, and is member of the Content Committee of the Privacy Camp, as well as member of the European Commission’s Multistakeholder Expert Group to support the application of GDPR.
González Fuster studied Law at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), Journalism at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Modern Languages and Literatures at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
