Dr. Emanuela Podda is a Research Fellow at the Security, Privacy and Data Protection Laboratory (SPDP Lab), Università degli Studi di Milano, Department of Computer Science. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), University of Luxembourg. She has a legal background, and she is a qualified lawyer. Her research focuses on the challenges posed by the law to the engineering and computation of specific data processing operations, and on data governance models. She received her MSCA Ph.D. in Law, Science and Technology from the Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, in cotutelle with the University of Luxembourg, and the Università degli Studi di Torino.
