Daniel Schneiß is a doctoral researcher in the DFG project “The Governing of Algorithms” at Kiel University. In addition, he is a researcher in the research group “Working with Artificial Intelligence” at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin. In his PhD research he is working on the role of technical standardisation in the European AI regulation landscape. Here, he combines approaches from labour sociology and science and technology studies.
