Clément Perarnaud is a PhD candidate in political science at University of Pompeu Fabra (UPF). His research work focuses on the power of member states in the context of negotiations in the Council of the European Union, looking at EU policy-making processes related to privacy, data protection and digital affairs. Currently an associate researcher at the VUB Brussels School of Governance, Clément Perarnaud is a member of the working group on Internet Governance and Regulation of the Centre Internet & Société (CIS) in Paris.
