Anne Marieke (Annelieke) Mooij is an Assistant Professor of Public Law and Governance at Tilburg University, specialising in the intersection of law, technology, and governance. Her research focuses on the regulation of digital and financial innovation, including AI governance, blockchain, the digital euro, and virtual environments. Alongside her research, she has extensive experience in academic teaching, coordination, and supervision, including supervising PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers.

Mooij has published monographs, peer-reviewed articles, and policy reports, and has contributed expertise to the European Parliament and the Constitutional Court of Portugal. She also serves as a technical committee member of the International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Virtual and Augmented Reality Simulations. She holds a PhD from Dublin City University, where her interdisciplinary research examined the legal and institutional role of the European Central Bank during periods of crisis.
