Information
Anne-Pauline de Cler is a PhD candidate in sociology at the laboratoire interdisciplinaire pour la sociologie économique (Interdisciplinary lab for economic sociology) (CNAM-CNRS). Her thesis, supervised by Isabelle Berrebi-Hoffmann, studies alternative platforms in the direct-marketing food sector in France and the United States, in the cities of Paris and New York in particular. Her research is based on an ethnographic study and focuses on the content, organisation and division of work and on social relations in these alternatives. She also contributes to the analysis of the institutionalisation of these alternatives, in terms of their relation to public policy and their role in transformation on a macro-social scale.
