Information

Addie McGowan is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Salford. Her work focuses on platforms’ sociotechnical systems and knowledge infrastructures. She is also a Research Fellow on the ESRC-funded AdTech project at the University of Edinburgh, investigating the sociology of online advertising. Addie completed her PhD in 2024 on platform urbanism and home sharing.
