Sebastian Leuschner studied European Studies at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and at Södertörns Högskola in Stockholm as well as Law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During his studies he focussed on issues of European und International Law. In September 2013 he started as a doctoral researcher at Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, where he examines legal bases for a European Cyber Security law in the multilevel system of the EU. He is a member of the Network for Civil Security Law in Europe, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
