Joschka Selinger is a lawyer and heads the "Democracy and Fundamental Rights" pillar of GFF. He has been with the GFF since 2020 and works on cases relating to fundamental rights such as freedom of expression, freedom of assembly and academic freedom. Before joining GFF, he worked as a lawyer in the field of litigation, as a research assistant at a climate protection think tank and as a legal advisor to the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives. Joschka studied law, Islamic studies and political science in Berlin, Damascus and Cairo.
