Kirsten Gollatz is a Project Manager at the Alexander von Humboldt for Internet & Society in Berlin where she has worked on projects and events in the field of Policy & Governance since she joined the Institute in 2011. She is currently conducting research with a special focus on Freedom of Expression, online content regulation and participation. In summer 2012, she was a research intern at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society.
Kirsten has a Master’s Degree in Media and Political Communication from the Free University Berlin. While attending university, Kirsten worked as a research assistant for enterprises, journalists, media industry associations and research organizations and was involved in a variety of projects focused on emerging media and internet policies and economy issues, particularly on governance models in the context of a disruptive media shift.
