Information
Jörn Lamla is Professor for Social Theory at the University of Kassel, Germany. From March 2015 to August 2015 he was Visiting professor at the Centre for Ethics, University of Toronto, Canada. He studied social sciences, mathematics and psychology at the University of Marburg from 1988 to 1994 and received his PhD (Dr. phil.) in 2000 at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena. From 2002 to 2009 he held a position as Assistant professor in general sociology at the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, followed by three interim professorships in Giessen, Jena and Kassel. In 2012 he finished his habilitation at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena.
