Fabian Pittroff is a PhD student at the Department of Sociological Theory at the University of Kassel, Germany. He works in the research project ‘Mapping and Analysis of the Privacy Arena’ funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. His research interests are privacy, personhood and networking. He is a PhD fellow at the Doctoral College ‘Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users’ at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
