Cornelius Puschmann is acting professor of communication science at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen and research associate at theAlexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Berlin. Cornelius completed his PhD at the University of Düsseldorf in 2009 with a thesis on the corporate blog as an emerging genre of computer-mediated communication. From January to July 2013 Cornelius was a visiting fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, and from September 2013 to August 2014 he was a visiting assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam’s Department of Media Studies. He is a co-editor of the recently published volume Twitter and Society (Peter Lang, 2014).
Cornelius’ research interests include computer-mediated communication and open science, as well as ethical and methodological issues surrounding social data. His publications are available at http://cbpuschmann.net
